I know I KNOW. Fan art? Yes. Because I, like many, fell in love with Grogu before I even knew his name. A little creature so cute, small, and hungry. I had to try modelling him. Of course, when I modeled him, I knew him as “Baby Yoda” and “The Child”. But now we know ya, Grogu!
Sculpting this bust in ZBrush was the perfect way to spend an afternoon. I started out by working BIG to smoll, making sure to get those larger and more obvious shapes blocked in. Once I had those in, I went in to refine everything – adding folds and “bumps” where needed. Admittedly, getting him to look young and not like Yoda’s youngerish brother, was a challenge at first, but we got there!
